ICRW works with partners to conduct empirical research, build capacity, and advocate for evidence-based practical solutions to change policies and programs. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., and with regional offices in India and East Africa, ICRW conducts research to inform policies and programs seeking to alleviate poverty, promote gender equity and social inclusion, and protect human rights. ICRW’s focal areas include gender-based violence, healthy transitions to adulthood, economic empowerment, HIV/AIDS, and sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Overview:

Through digital and empirical research, ICRW and Quilt.AI are partnering to broaden and deepen national and global discourse on several key issue areas. The collaboration will provide insight and support programming on mutual areas of interest, including health, education, gender-based violence, gender equity and economic empowerment.

  • Research adapting ICRW’s GEMS index, which measures gender equity among middle school and high school use, for a new machine learning tool to facilitate analysis of online content; and,
